Obedience Training

All dogs have their own unique personality, that's why we love them so much! We offer many different training programs to suit your individual dog's needs. We offer puppy training programs, private lessons, and a variety of different board and train programs including behavior modification. We also offer different programs for specialty training such as handicap assistance, therapy dog, and personal protection training.

Before we start any training program we do a free evaluation so that together we can determine which training route is best for you and your dog.

We do offer a 10% military and fire fighter discount on all training programs, and we offer a discount to rescues and shelters as well!

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons are for the owner who wants to train their own dog but needs some guidance. These lessons are typically done once a week at the training facility for as long as the owner needs them. Private lessons take much more work on the owner's part to create the desired behavior.

BOARD AND TRAIN PROGRAMS

During these programs, your dog will stay at the training facility until their training is completed. After training, you will receive private lessons to learn how to handle your newly behaved dog.

FAMILY FRIENDLY COMPANION (7 DAY BOARD AND TRAIN)

Is your dog a good dog most of the time but just needs to learn some basic manners? If so, then this program is for you! Your dog will learn how to properly greet people at the door by not jumping, and they will be a pro at walking on a leash! This program will also teach your dog how to relax inside of the home and be much more enjoyable.

On-leash commands included: Let's go, off, kennel up, sit, down, heel, auto- stay.

Lessons included: 2 private lessons. Unlimited group class lessons for the life of your dog.

Equipment included: Training collar

AMAZING FIDO (14 DAY BOARD AND TRAIN)

Is your dog unruly at times or does not listen? Is taking your dog on a walk more of a hassle than it is worth? If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Amazing Dog Program is just what you need! This program will teach your dog not only how to behave inside but also better outside.

On-leash commands included: Let's go, off, kennel up, sit, down, heel, auto-stay, chill out, and place

Lessons included: 3 private lessons. Unlimited group class lessons for the life of your dog.

Equipment included: Training collar

PERFECT POOCH (21 DAY BOARD AND TRAIN)

Want to take your dog's obedience to the next level? Does your dog need better manners when it is outside? Then this is the program for you! You will get all of the benefits from the Amazing Fido program plus complete off-leash reliability through the work with a remote training collar.

On-leash and off-leash commands included: Let's go, off, kennel up, sit, down, heel, auto-stay, come, chill out and place.

Off- leash commands included: Let's go, off, kennel up, sit, down, auto-stay, come, chill out and place.

Lessons included: 4 private lessons. Unlimited group class lessons for the life of your dog.

Equipment included: Training collar, Remote Training Collar.

DREAM DOG (28 DAY BOARD AND TRAIN)

Once you have completed this program, people will dream about having a dog as well behaved as your dog. Your dog will be trained inside and outside but also out in public and around all of your friends and family. Happiness will overcome your dog because they will have off-leash freedom, and you will have the confidence in your dog to know they will listen at any given moment. This program is no easy task but is definitely worth it! The Dream Dog Program is for people who want to go above and beyond with their dog. We teach them how to behave on and off leash, inside and outside. We then take the next 3 months to teach you how to work with your dog, so you can enjoy your very own dream dog.

On-leash and off-leash commands included: Let's go, off, kennel up, sit, down, heel, auto-stay, come, chill out, emergency down, and place.

Lessons included: 3 months of unlimited private lessons at the training facility and at owner's home. Unlimited group classes for the life of your dog.

Equipment included: Leather leash, remote training collar

AGILITY

Owners will learn how to teach their dog to complete basic agility obstacles such as the tunnel, tire jump, bar jumps, A-frame, and more. The focus of this class is to build a relationship with your dog, and it is a great way to increase your dog’s confidence level. This is a group class meeting once weekly for 6 weeks.

CGC TEST

We also offer CGC testing. The CGC program offers many practical advantages. The CGC award is a prerequisite for many therapy dog groups. Some homeowner’s insurance companies encourage CGC testing, and an increasing number of apartments and condos require that resident dogs pass the CGC test. The tagline of the CGC program is: “Responsible Owners, Well-Mannered Dogs,” and that is what CGC is all about.
